P-47 belly landing

This RC P-47 has quite a troubled day. After a first difficult landing, the pilot manages to send it once again in the air. On the second flight the right wheel bails out 🙂 and the pilot is forced to belly land the plane. The P-47 is saved thanks to the pilot’s skills. The minimal […]

H-21 helicopter crash-tests

The Piasecki H-21 tandem rotor helicopter was one of the first tandem rotor helicopter, entering service in 1952. The helicopter was used for a series of controlled impact tests, in order to determine ways of improving survival methods in the event of a crash. Well, that last one seems brutal… hardly anybody would survive that […]

RC indoor aerobatics

It always amazes me to see what this pilots can do with their small radio controlled planes. This is just another example of having a great time with a scale model. Guess you really need some skills to perform this type of aerobatics.

Huge RC B-52 bomber

This is one really huge radio controlled B-52 bomber. Of course, it seems a bit natural since the B-52 is a huge plane in real life, so once you shrink it down to scale it still dwarfs other RC aircraft. Makes everything else look like a cheap toy.

Insane indoor aerobatics

Check out this amazing little RC aircraft and the crazy things it can do. It looks as if the controller uses his airplane to challenge the laws of physics. Anyway great performance and great skills. This has to be one of the best RC videos out there.

Controlled crash

NASA undertook some flight test with the Boeing 707. Oh yeah! They did a “controlled impact demonstration” hoping the aircraft will not catch fire. Would you like to see what happened?
