Mission impossible
This guy loses his right risers and quickly finds himself on the way down. It’s not the fall that kills you, it’s the sudden stop at the bottom. Luckily for him, he manages to open his reserve chute, land safely in the drink and live to tell the tail.

Sea Knight overboard
A US Navy Ch-46 Sea Knight comes in to land. Only problem is the pilot doesn’t really do it well. Consequence? The helicopter falls short of the helipad and hits the drink.
Proximity alert
These two Puma helicopters were trying to do a nice formation pass over the crowd. In terms of proximity, they were flying at the limit. And when they went beyond that limit, all hell broke loose. Their rotor blades collided sending both helicopters in uncontrolled spins to the ground.

Point Mugu Airshow F-4 Phantom crash
Things started out quite well with this demonstration. Until the last jet peeled off. Engines seemed to flame out, listen to the commentator saying all there is to be said and then look out for the BANG. That about sums it up.
