Skiing+Paragliding=Extreme Alpine Speed Paragliding
This just shows what you can do when you take some skis, take a paraglider and let gravity do its work. I promised myself to try this crazy combination at least once before I die. Honestly, I’d like to see this stuff at the Winter Olympics. It really does add some spice to skiing.

That looks like it does not have a lot of control. Has anyone ever died doing it?
That isn’t a paraglider, its a parachute, parachute’s are much faster than paragliders.
These are not paragliding parachutes. They are high performance canopies (often cross-braced) usually used in skydiving, especially the discipline of “swooping”
wonder if this could help in not falling so much on skis?
If you are still falling on your skis there is no way you will be able to handle this.
Not only do you have to control the skis you have to think about (and control) the chute.

Where can I buy one of these chutes? What are they called? Does anyone have contact details for an organisation than teaches this in the Alps?
